On November 21, 2023, the 51st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Jamaica, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica Mr. Chen Daojiang hands over more than 100 sets of China-aided electronic office equipment and airport CT security scanners to the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica.
Just as Ambassador Mr. Chen said, these equipment will help improve the efficiency of the government, provide more efficient services for the people, and thus promote the economic and social development of Jamaica.
The Honourable Minister expressed her appreciation to Chinese Government for this generous donation, and expertise and technology sharing as well as infrastructure cooperation over the years. She believes these equipment will promote connectivity and secure the border of Jamaica better and thus improve its international trade.
